u guys arent missing out on much...he chopped up the stock fog covers, put in a sqaure piece of mesh behind it, with some fog lights the mesh...

 

i think it's good DIY job... depend on personal taste i guess..
it's old school bug eye meish grill look.

basically it's the 04-05 sti fog light cover hack off the middle where the sti sticker would be. and insert meish grill

its still too easy to pull off...i.e. get stolen...but at least hes the only to have it, so its easily identifiable...then again, maybe no one even wants to steal it...
