Need help with ticket/state ref guys
Hey guys, I havent posted here for a long time but I seriously need some help. I just got pulled over in Monterey Park earlier, and the officer gave me a ticket for my exhaust and asked me to pop my hood open. Then he asked me a bunch of questions about whats under my hood, and finally gave me a ticket for my BOV (yes i know...but it was a b-day gift?).
My questions are, how much are the fines for correctable cvc 27150 (a) Modified Exhaust, and cvc 27156 (b) Altered Emissions (bov)? He wrote down mandatory state ref. So would i have to take off my Helix hi-flow catted DP off? or my HKS hi-pwr exhaust?
-Thanks in advance

Hope all goes well. Good luck.

Would it be cheaper to take everything off and put it back on?

my car is too far along
the fine is 1042$
a guy in nor cal told me he couldnt pay so i dunno
but if its just a bov and exhaust
take it to the ref with the stock parts on the down pipe and BOV you dont need to take the hi power off
the muffler ticket is non correctable

yea it's not worth to do crazy mods on a car anymore
My RS custom turbo kit, burnouts in first gear, fun.
Smog not fun
So when I do my swap
STOCK!
300hp is more than enough for a car on the street, and its enough for a weekend track event.
