wel i already tried cleaning it does the same i also noticed if i take the sensor out of the pipe the idle gets perfect as if ambient temperature was helping it out as soon as i put it back into the pipe it starts stalling, which leads me to believe its the sensor itself. who is
aerosim?? and how can i get ahold of him.

did u try to put ur stock airbox back on??
as far as i know.. a good percentage of cold air intake.. can ruin the MAF sensor.
i had a friend who broke his MAF on VW passat at least.. 4 times with a HKS Shortram.. but then.. the VW MAF sux..

i did read it.. fool.. i was thinking maybe putting back to stock will resolve the CEL..
if not then he can be sure it's MAF problem or maybe it's just the short ram throwing the CEL.
it's easier than trying to fine ppl to take their MAF off to test it..
