Thankee for the welcome. Loving my '03 WRX, but that aftermarket jet turbine I welded to the roof is causing me some problems on mountain roads.

Actually, here's a question... I've had the thing for a week and a half, and I've heard what I swear is a loud, low-pitched whistle come off my right rear something-or-other when at high speeds and turning slightly (say, on the freeway around a soft bend). I can't recreate it at will, but I've heard it four times. Am I losing my mind, about to die in a horrific fiery crash, or just getting used to the strange exotic sounds of a new vehicle?

Interesting. There did turn out to be a sticker inside the left mirror, but not the right. The noise has always sounded (to both passenger and driver) like it was coming from the right side. Perhaps the noise was just throwing strangely in the cabin. I guess I'll find out when I get back out on the road. Thanks for the idea.
