mod question

i have a 2004 wrx and what mods will i need to do if i want to make this beast run 10 second?

if you want it to run for 10 seconds long remove your intake snorkel and filter and open a jug of water there. mix with some mud and sand, don't pay attention to the red line and launch from 5th gear.

drop clutch at 6950rpm and be on your way.

look at www.easystreetmotorsports.com

they run 9.xxx

you need ALOT of work and money spent on the car to make it go into 10s

When shooting for 11 and below the term used would be build.

i need to get better gearing
a guy in a el co was rolling next to me at 25 and i was in 2nd and couldnt do anything

ok think of it this way
in terms of launching the car, fwd and rwd show excess power or traction loss as wheelspin, not as much to the tranny, drivetrain, clutch ect. you can learn all day on a 2wd car without many problems
in terms of a 4wd car launching does not result in a traction loss, the excess power is purely transmitted to the drivetrain, clutch, tranny ect. although this makes for a badass launch, sh@t breaks.
our cars werent necessarily made to go fast straight or launch, even though they can with staggering results.
