hey whats up, i've been lurking for a bit, trying to soak up information on the WRX. i've gone to a few of our local dealerships here (timmons in lb & south coast on harbor) and test drove the 06 and am thinking of pulling the trigger on one around january. i have also been checking out the "other" subey forum to soak up more info.

anyhow, my point is, i'm from long beach and i was wondering how many of you guys here are from here or near by. it might be cool to check out your cars or just to get any tips on buying or what not from some near by rex owners.

thanks for the welcome guys. i'd probably be down with checking out the meet on tuesday. where is at? i figure the more knowledge i can absorb the better and it will be cool to see what mods you've done to your rides.

as to where i live at, im off 2nd and redondo. (belmont heights technically).

wrx-cbr, thanks for that link, it was very helpful. i've been reading alot about how lots of people like the sound of the aftermarket BOVs but also how they are basically useless unless you up the size of the turbo...same with the CAI, all seem like simple mods, but it seems like from what i've been reading it is another "wasted" mod unless bigger EM mods are in the near future.

as of now, i dont forsee myself wanting to do too many mods, but i know the bug will bite me and im sure i'll slowly start getting them.
