lets go lakers!
The Cavs are lucky this year. Detroit were weak because of various injured players. If Tayshawn was healthy, the series would have been different. With KG out and Leon Powe out, Boston can't make it to the Eastern Conf. Final. With Magic, they were a tough contender of the Cavs throughout the entire season and they definitely had the edge over the Cavs. However, this all changed when Jameer Nelson got injured and out for the season. The Turkish Michael Jordan (Hedo) definitely need to have more pizza and step it up.
As for the Lakers, for being number 1 on the west coast, they sucked. And I have to give credit for Houston for being able to take advantage of the Lakers when they have bad nights. Houston does not have anyone playing the big position with Yao out and Mutembo out. They're also missing Tmac, who is a major contributor with offense. I thought Battier, Brooks, Artest and Scola stepped it up. Brooks did great for a 2nd year player. He really took advantage with his speed. All in all, Lakers have been inconsistent. They're not great when they play against teams that plays physical. Gasol and Bynum should have been able to perform the way they did yesterday throughout the series or ever since both Mutembo and Yao is out. When Houston played small, Lakers got guys like Farmar, Ariza and Shannon Brown to play speed. They might not be as fast as Brooks, but they have the ability to defend and they didn't on those night when they lose to Houston (post Yao and Dikembe injuries). If you see the way Denver has been playing, they're at another level physically. They shut out Chris Paul and Chandler like no other. Remember, these guys were strong contenders from last season.
In the end, I guess it would be exciting to see Cavs. vs Lakers. But I'd want to see Denver and Orlando just because I want neither Cavs nor lakers to win the trophy.

yao is turning into a liability for houston. 2nd time for his foot right??
melo is still basically all of denvers offense. if the lakers can actually play some D then i think it will be tough wins. KEY IS! to win the first 2 at home.
