ooo since i can't read japanese whats the deal with this "Happy Lawson" store. and this character miffy

 

it's for their 30th anniversary. it looks like they held a contest for what the customers wanted. the winning idea was to have a lawson that was designed around a mom who had to shop while taking care of their kids. so there's a play area and some free services that makes it easier for a mom to shop there.

i think that's the gist of it.
