Kart Factory (Brea) - Gas-powered Karts without governers
So I'm flying back from Colorado Springs yesterday and sitting behind me is Leon Styles (http://www.sidewaysrules.com/) and Lisa Klassen (http://www.rallyestar.com/) who were returning from an event they competed in at Pikes Peak. We shot the shiet for a little while and he mentioned that he had just opened a go-kart racing track in Brea (http://www.kartfactory.com/). The karts are gas powered and the governers have been removed. If I remember right, he said that he has a special track for drifting too.
Would you guys be down for checking it out?
On another note, if you're into rally, the Gorman event is Aug. 18th. The juan is supposed to be the best event in the U.S. Spectators can hang out along the track.

More info on the track from Lisa:
"The track is really fun and technical. The karts have 9, unregulated horse power and we've modified them so that you can left foot brake. We also have modified drifting karts that have special drifting rings on the rear tires to give you the true drifting experience. You can also see all of our race cars as you drive around the track as well as watch motorsports videos while you wait for the next race. We will also be hosting special car club nights. For one price, you can get a t-shirt, go kart ride and entry into a car show. There will be prizes and trophies for the car show and the kart race. Not sure what all of this will cost, but it's better than trying to have a meet in front of Albertson's and getting kicked out by the cops"
