interesting counterpoint to all of the stuff that has been thrown around the Imus thing this week.

 

I think the situation is blown out of proportion. News time should be spent reporting on other news. There are more important issues than that.

 

When Sharpton and Jackson get involved in it, anything becomes blown way out of proportion and automatically front page news imo. Even the governor of NJ got into an accident going to the "apology session" which gave some more face-time to the issue.

Imus has issued an apology, he has been fired and that should be it. but i know ppl will be talking about this in the national circle for months unfortunately.
