me and 3 friends are chipping in to get a used cbr to learn to ride.

hopefully by the end of summer i'll feel confident enough to get an R6

Then maybe when i'm rolling in some cash i'll get a Ducati 999S

Good choice on a first bike. Seriously take the class and be safe out there.

I'm sure the 04 gsxr will step up to the plate, but i've always liked and wated a yamaha...maybe when I get tired of a 600 i'll step it up to a busa, but I don't see that happening for at least 3-4 years.

Besides, my biggest hurdle is my mom. She freaks out everytime I bring up getting a bike.

I picked up some wheels for a friend, and they were sitting in the garage. She thought they were mine (she hates it when I spend money on my car....worse than the gf). I told her my new wheels are going to come attached to a bike. She almost slapped me

Thanks. Under a lot of other people's recommendation, and for my own safety, I'm looking into the motorcycle safety courses. Thanks again!

Thanks, but I've already promised payment and a time to come pick up my bike. And also, 1100cc - that's a bit too big for me. I don't want to die.

Edit: I'm an idiot and forgot to log out. This is kym.
