i ended a 6 year relationship on thursday. it sucks, but at the same time, i feel allot better and i know it wasn't going anyplace anymore.

Single (does not mean lonely :P) and happy...as soon as I find someone with whom I do not have to compromise on my principals, hobbies, career ambitions, and personality than I might think about a relationship.

 

I voted for in a relationship and happy - we're happy and have a beautiful daughter together. Wife's not into my hobbies but I think that was a good thing since I tend to go over-board....I do miss having several race bikes and the best equipments tho.

 

hardest part: she was wearing really hot underwear that day and it had been a while.

its been a while in coming though so mentally i was prepared for it. i was always the one who put all the work into the relationship (see also: bull**** boyfriend stuff) and got tired of it not going anywhere. i sent a a text to paul@dbtuned the next day that pretty much sums it up:

"well, im a free man. what am i doing with my newfound freedom? drinking alone. second thoughts? none."

sometimes you have to cut your losses.
