Nothing against Rota's...I've seen more expensive rims do the same thing on curbs.
Couple in person (Advans) and a few rally video's I've seen.

The fenders are probably tweeked and that's why you are getting the gaps. All it would take is a little bit of rubbing from the tire during the impact to knock the fenders out of whack.

+1 if the vehicle has any kindve momentum when it bashes a curb like that..something is going to give.. and its not going to be the curb

It's another reason I prefer Rota's. Less expensive to replace, and if you don't hit a curb, I think they look and perform just as good as anything out there.

If I had a show car, then I'd probably go for a $2000 set of rims

the car is far from totaled. The brake rotor looks like its still on one piece Will the car drive the same sure...but your ego no, its like having a girlfriend cheat on you. Sure she loves you, but you know something is wrong.

Yea I agree the pictures only tell half the story. Sorry about your loss and maybe you can help prevent an accident like this happening again.

i, myself, would probably bring it to suby specialties or aerosim. i'm not sure about the exterior work in your area.

i'm sure better suggestions are around from more knowledgable people like sigma and life. hope insurance can cover some work.
