I thought any of the USC, UCLA and Berkley campus were beautiful fun fun. UIC on the other hand looks like a prison as they were designed for the 60's frequent protesting movement in Chi-town loop area.

I think it depends on what school and what you want to major in. The engineering school @ UCD is pretty good and the veterenary schools are tops in the nation. Not sure bout any other major tho.
