How do you remove decals?

Hi, I just got an outback sport and I want to remove the "sport" sticker off the back door. How can I do it without kufing up my paint?

Use unwaxed dental floss and a hair dryer, heat it for 30-60 seconds and pull the floss through, it may take a few tries

I used a heat gun for removing decals from defunct sponsors on my
92 #24 SpecMiata...

But you gotta be real careful not to get to close to the vinyl decals..

With constant moving back and forth and a low heat setting they become soft, and can be removed by hand after 30 seconds...

I borrowed a buddy's pro heat gun and the stuff comes off in a jiffy..

The nice thing is when heated, all the adheasive comes off leaving no residue....

But if you go this route, be very careful!
