there will always be two sides on this.

you can always download the game without paying for it. in that case, you'll hate drm. that's one side.

The other side is the seller's side. as a seller, you would want to take full advantage of your product and protect them from being cracked and being able to be downloaded and play for free.

people just don't like restrictions, period.

as for me, i still download games if i can, but i do understand the reasons behind drm.

but back to topic, c&c is not bad but not the best game. so is spore. dead space is kinda fun though if you have a nice graphics card.

 

 

which is why mmo is so profitable in asia especially in korea and china. cuz they're too cheap for the short play but willing to pay the monthly premium for wow.

 

kevin have you played the C&C series?? how does this one stack up?

 

the last time i really play C&C was when C&C was still owned soley by Westwood (before the first red alert came out). i have yet to find time to play it.. but i do have it on my work computer (768 mb video card ).. i'll let you know.. the C&C RA 3 poster is pretty dope though. the girls are pretty cute.

i think all the drm does is create an even bigger reason to push for and crack the game. spore and ra3 were cracked 0-day and working

 

it's also for stirring up publicity if you may.
