Hey all
I just got an 02 WRX, black 5spd, sedan. I am formerly a honda-boy... but I am turning to Subaru now.. I know NOTHING about subaru, so I came here to learn. I dont havevery much money, but I want your opinions on a couple of things I want to do to the car first...
1) BOV -- I must have this sound! What's a good all-around BOV for someone on a budget? Around $100.. and are they subaru-specific or are they universal?
2) Headlights- I've seen the black wrx thread, and I love the projectors you guys put on them, I did see some on ebay, but they're incredibly cheap and I doubt you guys are using those cheapies for 30 bucks... (I DO want to put HID-i'll assume the projectors are designed for halogen so throw out a sloppy beam when plugging in HID H1)?
3) I'm also interested in the V1 lip, anybody reccomend a place online that sells them? Do they sell a matching rear? And it looks like you guys dont put sideskirts since the WRX already kinda has them..
4) Springs.. looks like the Eibach sportline kit 1.3" drop is the one a lot of you guys use... will 2" be too damaging to the suspension/drivetrain etc?
Anyway, I live in the 818 area, I'd like to go to one of the meets if you have any! hehe

IMO don't get the BOV until u do some mods 1st
if anything remove the "snorkel"
wow from honda! kool, trying to get my buddy to sell all of his hondas to buy an sti
as for springs if you dont have a lot of money try getting someones entire set of sti susp intead- thats what i did and i got em super cheap. grant it its not slammed but it is tighter and slightly lower- good for 17's

go to scoobymods.com on how to take the snorkel out, I'm in the 818 area if you need help in taking out the snorkel. for me I will go for suspension mods before engine mods....... sway bars, end links and springs with a 17" rims.
