I am in No Cal and there's an 02 red wagon that I need inspected. I want to see if this car is worth an offer. I tried calling a couple of shops near the lot, but didn't get a very good feeling about it.

Can anyone recommend a good shop that might do an inspection in the Burbank North Hollywood area?

Ali and the rest are at the races until Monday. Only one very busy technician is there so hopefully no none will buy it this weekend and I will have a chance to get it checked out. Maybe worth a trip to LA? Denny

 

Its going in today. They're going to spray water on it and check for leaks. Also check to see if it really had a body kit on it, if it has any other mods, do a drive test, do the safety check and whether a comp test is recommended; essentially to let me know if it is worth buying. If they say it is in good shape, I might have them (Easy Street) do a service on it before I come to get it. Got my fingers crossed, but if its a no go, no big, as I found another one with less miles and a normal title.

 

Had a ECU piggy-back at one time, maybe new gauge cluster so mileage was ? and had some more minor body damage, but the thing that made decide not to make an offer was that it was in a minor front end collision. I was told that they thought it was an okay deal for less than $10K, but it is too far away for me; so no offer. Next time.....
