are the Hawk Performance HPS any good?
i used to get ebc truck / van pads.. they were ok but very soft. btw it's not for my car.. it's for my dad's minivan.. i need to get some new pads for his car.. so i'm looking to get some better pads but not spend too much money. |

Watch out for the Ferodo, The pad will jack up your rims bad. The pads are dusty as hell ( I know that if good) but when water mixes with the dust and the wheel heats up, it is like powder coating the dust onto your rim. I screwed up two rims with them. The only way to clean them is to sand that crap off. I could not steam clean it off. So watch out for those kind of pads. Unless your tracking and don't care, but its still looks bad.

I had them too (Paperchasin's were mine once)...
I just installed them on a Legacy with a BBK (another one, not mine)... BUT, in case you are interested, I happen to have a set of Legacy GT 12.x" rotors/2-piston calipers with Bobcats sitting in my garage for sale at this time. This is not my personal set since I like to keep my stock stuff. |
