Officer suspected I was drunk and gave me the "follow the pin without moving you head" test. Then said he pulled me over for going 90 on a 70.

From what people have telling me is just wait till I get I somethign in the mail. The officer didnt really give me much info. I just want to know what I should do right when I get it. Pay it off and go to traffic school?
you will have the option to just pay it off or try and fight it in court or pay it off and do traffic school. Going to traffic school keeps the ticket off your driving record, so your car ins. doesn't go up.

were you going 89mph? if not, go to court and contest it.

if you were going that fast, call the court and ask for a reduction in fine *nicely.* the people who handle the calls can do that (at least for some violations). if they can't do it, then go to court and ask for a reduction in fine. they usually do if you're polite and give a good reason ("i'm a student and i'd really appreciate it if you could reduce the fine," etc). make sure you take traffic school.

or try ticketassasin.com

and louis, that really sucks my coworker got her car towed because she didn't realize it was a commercial zone (it had a meter and she put time on it). the tow yard was 2 blocks away, it took them 15 mins to take the car (she only walked a couple of blocks, then had to turn back) and cost her $270 plus scratches on her bumper (which they denied doing).

well I walked for about an hour to back to where my car is supposed to be. found out the car is gone, and walk another 1 hour+ to get my car. no tow fee on new year at pasadena, just 60 bucks ticket fine.

my 96mph tickets on a 70 end up costing me like $500...

Yea I dont mind paying the ticket but I would love if they could reduce the price because I am a college student and im starting my winter session on monday and I need to cash all of my money I get this week for the class. I could push for 89. My speedometor(sp) isnt acurate to begin with.

But for calling them, how can I do that? The officer didnt leave a number.

To my understanding getting a ticket at 84+ is BAAAAADDDD. Most CHP's can be pretty lenient. In the past I was going 90 but the CHP told me I'll write you up for 84 mph exact so I can go to traffic school. Never verified the law, just stuck with it ever since I got that ticket. But since the speed limit is 70mph, I suppose 19-20 mph over the limit is acceptable and the CHP officer is giving you a break.

Keep in Mind *****-Hay was on his way to a Casino in the middle of BFE so it's quite a ways to make a court appearance especially if he's complaining about funds.

When I got a ticket for 84mph, my bill was around $400+. It could have been in the thousands but due to my clean record and history, the judge was cool.

Unless you can prove Toyota Motor Corp is selling cars with inaccurate speedometers, your word is not valid and puts you in an even worse predicament on the safety of your vehicle.

There should be a number, if not, there should be county info on the ticket. Google the info of the court.

they change allowable speed limit from +5mph to only +3 mph

in order to attend traffic school the speed has to be within 20mph of the max speed limit of the road.

Ok I listed out what's important for your survival in Shinjuku

I marked where your hotel is, a place to eat, a place to get money, a place to get dvds, a place to get condoms, a place to boink hookers, and a place to play video games and prey on young women
