anyone get past the ring in the MB?

 

I'm officially at 20.8% complete with 4106 A-Spec points.

No one has really mentioned the driving missions yet. I'm really frustrated with mission 10. I've only tried it a few times but it is really annoying.

I am really annoyed that there are license tests for the I-A license that require you to drive an Alfa Romeo Spider and a Seat Cupra. I mean seriously, is anyone going to be driving a Citroen Xsara in any race that requires an I-A license.

Did I mention I hate the ring?

 

All I know is that Jeremy Clarkson did the nurburgring in a Jaguar Vanden Plas DIESEL in less than ten minutes! If he can do it in that, I can do it in the 190. Just stay on track and don't hit the pace car after the straights.

I did it in 9:15 without pushing it too much.

I am happy with bronze on IA for now. I'm going to drive my Option Z in the GT world champs.

Yeah, that vanden plas diesel wasn't fast, Clarkson was riding in luxury around the ring. If that hunkajunk can do it in ten.... but gold, that's another story.

edit: or not, it seems I have to complete the remaining Pro events first....

I bought this car too, however you cannot compete in the world classic car event, being that it is a '71 model and not a '70 or earlier. Hence I went with the Charger.

Too bad I won a lousy 1886 Daimler motor carriage!

ok how do you win all the profesional events when the all star challege is in professional

and you cant do extreme until all of professional is done

the world champs and the supercar challenge are both in pro. I'm working on the supercar challenge.

To compete in the world champs you have to finish beginner and the rest of the pro events. Once Pro (and therefore beginner) is complete you are eligible to compete in Extreme.

say, what's a good car to use in lightweight cup in beginner? I've been putting that one off.
