I'm in West Covina/Pomona area, and am in search of a quality reputable shop, that the more I can avoid the freeway the better. My car's hit rod knock, and I need a place to diagnose and basically see if they can tell me how bad it is, and if it can just be a quick rebuild, or do I need to get a new shortblock.

I'm trying to get into contact with Suby Specialties, but they haven't emailed back, so I'm calling them tomorrow, but is there any where else that I could go to? Any engine rebuild shops that people have had good experiences with?
