im pretty sure dayquil is meant to keep you up for most of the day. wouldn't drinking half a bottle of nyquil or taking like 2 pills enough? those pills are like the size of marbles anyway

i don't think it's meant to keep you up, it's just non drowsy

but mixing might have some effect.
