would have to cut up my body pretty good and at that point (ie cutting a gaping hole on one side, i'd have a fan on the s/c (which broke) and an AE heat sink on the motor, which already rubs against the body. The lo-profile body I have on atm just doesn't have room for those things. In addition, the positioning of the motor on my car would mean the fan would hit the top chassis brace.

the car is quite ventilated as it is. the holes above the motor are cut open and I cut off the nose of the body. You can clearly see inside when you look at the car from the front. As long as the temp is about 180-220F or so, its all good. No amount of gearing is going to help you against a 6.5. The differences in power between those motors is too much. I bought the 10.5 looking to run in the stock classes, not in mod.

10.5 is still considered as stock. 6.5 is considered mod. ROAR might bump that back to 13.5, but ya, its stock atm. In the brushed world that is mod. Not in the Brushless world.
