they need to run a separate, larger diameter gas line from the meter to the unit. in my case, it would have to go through three other condos to get from the meter to my garage. when i get my single family detached, i'm going to do it.

i was going to do that (even at the more expensive price.. they said $3k min), but it wasn't possible because of the condo setup.
they need to run a separate, larger diameter gas line from the meter to the unit. in my case, it would have to go through three other condos to get from the meter to my garage. when i get my single family detached, i'm going to do it.

have you looked into thermal heating units? this would be a better choice than the tankless w/h. and the energy is free!
