nope. he's not supposed to play sports where he would put a lot of lateral stress on his knees. = no basketball, no skiing, etc.

but i've met a few skiers on lifts that have gone through the surgery and rehab and they're back on slopes.

 

goodness.. i can't give up basketball. it's one of my necessities in life.
