well, YOU *points* mentioned on the other thread that you ate bbq and became a fatty so i'm trying to be positive here. Regrets huh? Didn't start dancing on tables or anything did you? O_o

Speaking of which.. Mike thank your mom again. she brings me up a lot of snacks. Its like I'm in HS again doing one of those all-nighter book reports.

If you want something light, zarusoba with some wasabi and chopped green onions on the side ftw! But unfortunately, we were pressed for time today (ie we want to leave on time) we went to McDs. You can bring gyoza and some rice or something to work. They should be super easy to make. Anyways, just some suggestions for Ms. Kuishimbo.

hahaha i was referring to the meat i ate being fatty.

no, i didn't do that... not that i recall anyway.

i was going to get a couple of rolls but the good japanese place didn't pick up their phone call. so i went to the okay japanese place and got a different roll. our closest fast food joint is a wendy's a few blocks away. no mcd's or burger king in sight.

Thats the last time I try to give you positive feedback or support hehe

See the only okashi-ya and bakery I know of is in SJ since I used to go practice there almost every week. Sj tofu is pretty damn good too. I don't know anything in Oakland since my parents were pretty afraid to go anywhere close to there. Since Japanese bakerys usually make things similar to french pastries and breads, you could go to a french bakery and prolly find something similar.

oh.. i was talking about makimono. :X but yeah, there aren't any japanese pastry shops in oakland. at least not that i know of. there are a bunch of chinese ones that i go to once in a while. I'm about 6 blocks from the oakland chinatown. no french pastries around here either. nor in hayward.
