morning all. Its almost time to replace the plugs. Any special trick to removing them or do you just have to remove some crap, "muscle" the wrench in and remove them? Need some info as i've heard people mention different ways to remove them, including removing engine mounts and putting the engine on a 1-ton jack.

Naw I replaced it.
You cant just buy a tgv sensor from subaru, you have to buy the whole assembly.
But we found ouf that the tgv sensor and the throttle position sensor are the same thing.
Then we found out that for a 02/03 wrx and an 04/05 sti, they have the same part number for the tps. So from that we concluded that they have the same tgv sensors lol.
My friend has an 05 sti and put deletes in so he had his motors laying around so he gave them to me.
The write up we read showed it was pretty easy to get to the sensor, but of course it didnt turn out to be that easy and we ended up having to unbolt the turbo to pull it up just a tiny bit for more room.
But the check engine light is now gone
Throttle still seems to be sticking tho
