well I've put over 70k miles on my car in the last year and a half so I've got lots of experience with this stuff. I wave at EVERY subaru. Foresters and Outbacks included. Outback owners wave, forrester owners don't, most RS owners do. Older WRX owners do. I think the younger the WRX owner the less they wave. I'm always getting comments on my car at gas stations though. Mostly cause everyone thinks it's a WRX. But I set them straight.

 

I have had some great encounters with fellow subaru owners!! Woo-hoo go club Suby!!

BTW: Anyone here talk to a guy in a black WRX with rims,Sunday on Nordhoff next to the 405?? Wonder if that dude is here.. Seemed like a cool dude from my neighborhood

I don't think that. Havent met another wrx owner that hasnt waved back, both kids and older guys. Being only a kid myself, maybe im just different from the rest.

 

I sure do. I got props from a guy in a ferarri today!!!! He was just cruising at about 120, flew past me but I decided to catch him and pace him. We drove like that for about 40 miles. Finally I got to my exit and he followed me to the gas station I was going to. When he got out he said "hey you've got *****, and a nice looking car. All you need now is a Ferarri and we could be real good buddies" Yeah so that was about it. But it was nice while it lasted.

well i live in the valley and cruise in a '96 GREEN DODGE GRAND CARAVAN. i'm a normal anywhere from west hills/canoga park to granada hills/northridge. so if you see an asian kid with a #2 buzz cut in the green pimp mobile... i'll be waving at you cuz i feel the scoobie love... though i don't have a scooby.

btw. i took out all the backseats in my minivan and it feels like it can fly now. haha. also improves gas mileage and braking. not to mention a couple hp gain. lol. but i messed up my neck while taking out the seats. hurts like a mother.

man, you gotta get a performance exhaust on your MV, and maybe an intake, some BBS wheels, Hood scoop, turbo, and you could have the first subie minivan in the US (they have them in Japan and Europe) Get some subaru badging. It'd be awesome.
