FS (Irvine): 2005 WRB STI - 35k miles, Cobb Stage 2
I'm sad to see the STI go, but we need to make room for a Lotus in the family!
Year: 2005
Model: WRX STi
Miles: 34,xxx miles (will be at low 35,xxx's by the end of summer)
Title: Clean (2nd Owner), never been in an accident
Exterior/Body:
- Cleared front headlights
- AutoSpeed front license delete
- Debadged trunk (SUBARU lettering removed only)
- ALL windows tinted (including front windshield). Front windshield and windows tinted at lightest tint, rear windows tinted at next darker shade.
* Condition of exterior is good. On a scale of 1-10, exterior would be rated at about 8. See below for details.
Interior:
- OEM boost gauge
- OEM STI short shifter
- Black WRX carpet (bye bye ugly blue carpet!)
- JDM black STI floormats with pink lettering
- Red light mod for 6-disc CD changer (pictures coming soon)
- Red light mod for HVAC (pictures coming soon)
- Red light mod for clock (pictures coming soon)
- Red light mod for cigarette lighter (pictures coming soon)
* Basically, the interior has been modified to light red where there was green before. Goodbye Christmas tree lighting!
* Condition of interior is excellent to immaculate. On a scale of 1-10, interior would be rated between 9.5-10.
Engine:
- Cobb 3" downpipe with cat
- Cobb 3" catback exhaust
- Cobb Accessport v2
Brakes:
- Ferodo DS3500 performance pads
- Motul RBF600
Weight reduction:
- Braille lightweight all-season 14 lb. battery
- JDM bumper beam (modified to accommodate front mount intercooler - never ended up happening)
Wheels/Tires:
- 18x8 +35 Enkei RPF1's in silver
- Bridgestone Potenza RE01-R, 225/35/18, with approximately 15k miles left
Exterior blemishes:
- Very minor rock chips (better than average)
- Two minor door dings (both on driver's side front fender)
- Four blemishes from eggshells (passenger door below side view mirror, on hood in front of hoodscoop, driver's side door below side view mirror and rear driver's side c-pillar)
- Minor scratch on passenger side rear corner panel
* Car has no major exterior damage. I'm only listing minor blemishes because I'm OCD, haha.
Asking price is KBB value at $23,000 or best reasonable offer. I can be contacted via PM or e-mail, kym[at]kymphan.net. I am located in Irvine, Southern California.
(Yes, these are pictures of the ACTUAL car)

I bought the car with about 21k miles on it, and I have all the receipts for every maintenance and mod on the car since. Every single gas receipt has been put into an Excel chart, so I even have the average mpg as of 21k miles. I'm pretty meticulous with my record keeping!
Unfortunately, the car hasn't been garaged often. Even then, it's clayed at least once every two months and almost always has a few coats of wax on it. I've listed all the exterior blemishes above. The car's exterior would rate as "good", around 8 on a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest).
Please let me know if you have any further questions.

You should find a reputable detailer and have him buff, clay and wax your car. Taking off the first layer of top coat really helps if the car hasn't been babied since day one. That's what I had to do when I got the STI!
Anyway, I have videos of the car here:
