so i called sun, mon, tue, wed... and on wed it said to call back thur between 12 - 12:30 for reporting instruction... so I was like ok...maybe I get the time and report on friday or something.

Called this morning around 10... said call back between 12 - 12:30. I was like whatever. Went to lunch... come back... work.. then at 2 something I am like crap I didn't call. Called in and said I am supposed to report at 1:30pm. WTF. I called in to reschedule... now I have to do it all over again next week *_*

i didn't even bother showing up the last time i got scheduled cause i also forgot to call in and it was already too late. i haven't heard from jury service since...
how much do they pay per mile of gas now? is it still like 0.15$/mi?

 

last time i did jury service i got $27 for three days i think.
not even enough for lunch money.

 

yea jury duty sucks, what sucks more is when you don't get paid for it. luckily city jobs pay for jury duty w00t.

haha $27 = 6 gallons of gas. not even enough to cover the trip to the courthouse. plus they always seem to schedule you at the furthest courthouse away. when i lived in Hac hts they sent me to norwalk, would not let me go to whittier...

for me the court would pay $15 a day, I forgot how much they pay for mile(one way though) If I had to actually serve.

 

i have to go to norwalk, west co and pomona.
if they schedule me for norwalk i just tell them it's too far.. i want to get relocated.

 

that reminds i'm suppose to register, son of a motherless goat! but it's been more than 5 days. i didn't call in last time either -.- this is like my 3rd one.

yeah, i think they can do that if they wanted to. not a good thing if you ever get pulled over and they look up your info.
