Just so you guys know circuit city filed chaper 11 to postpone chances of brankruptcy. they owe 2.3 billion for merchandise and actually have 3.42 they have managed to be able to obtain. since filing the chapert 11 they dont have to pay there vendors yet. 1.1 billion is pretty significant and most companies able to retian those assest (unfortunatly also with laying off employees) have made it through "reorganization".

If circuit city didnt file chap 11 they would have gotten no merchandise for black friday.

and for those who dont know, it is called black friday because almost all business post profits, or get into the black. my prediction this year is that some businesses will not post profit at end of the day, and those companies will be the ones that dont make it through the new year. if circ cuit makes it rhgouh black friday i think they will be fine if not well i am gonna go buy my tv at discount price
