Fresh of the boat... Does not specify or have anything to do with nationality or race.

HELLA HELLA HELLA
Offensive use

The term "FOB" has been used with offensive intent, often to those with a foreign accent or ethnic style of dressing. Depending on the person's attitude to the culture in question, he or she may or may not take offense at these statements. The term may also be used by people who themselves were immigrants years ago, in a way turning the insult once hurled at them onto the new arrivals, and in so doing emphasizing their own progress in assimilation or improved language skills.
not the way you are saying it, and even if that is what you meant, you are unclear and offended people.

Why can't you just say you're sorry and apologize to the people you offended.

Or wait you're too much up on that high horse for you to notice your stupidity.

to pinpoint your racism and grammar...

You are stating you meant to say fresh off (not of) the boat (not specifying anything about ethnic background).

Ok so let me put this in content for you.

You said:
""Aye man, a grip of FRESH OFF THE BOAT just showed up at Life Plaza. Imma bone out".

Whats fresh off the boat? Produce? TVs? Products?

Explain?

To me there is only one way you intended on your meaning of FOB and it was not FRESH OFF THE BOAT.

not at all

obviously if anyone is GUNIUNELY OFFENDED believe i dont use that term in ANY deroggotory way all, i obviously wasnt the first person who said it in this thread, and by posting your replies as you have, basically have proved the whole point of what we were saying with the title of this thread... all you do is try to start sh*t online and then continue the nonsence on and on, forgetting that you truely are the ones egging everything on and making sh*t up. Make sure you READ what the person says and not what you think they said.

since we are on the subject of apoligies, there are a bunch of people whom you have offended and continue to think its funny...

so mabye its time to quit your E-thuggin.

Looks like a bunch of crying to me. I don't know a single person who would easily fit the stereotypical profile of fob that is offended by the term, meaning I've only met the following people:

"The term also has been adapted by immigrants themselves or others in their community who instead see the differentiation as a source of pride, where they have retained their culture and have not lost it to assimilation. In some instances, people who have assimilated or acclimated into their host country still identify themselves as a "FOB" to show they have not assimilated completely."

http://encyclopedia.thefreedictionar...f%20the%20Boat

So with the hundreds of people that fit the description, and my using the abreviated term, why hasn't a singler person said anything until now... Maybe because most people don't worry about it, and in all honesty, you are ONLY making a big deal out of this because you dislike certain members/moderators on the forum.
