Cal Poly Pomona is probably one of the most safest and dullest Campuses on earth. So if security is a concern, then you have nothing to worry about. You can have the hottest chicks walk naked at night and not worry about a thing there. But in terms of social life, it sucks.

It's alright. We just had a new building built in the union with a gym and mall style food court. Only the gym is open right now and the rest will be ready at the end of the summer. They also built a new "luxury" dorm . Parking isn't too bad. The school is expanding and it will be interesting to see if fees will go up again with gray davis' school buget cut. I've never had a problem with security of my car, but I saw a police bulliten today that said 4 cars were stolen recently(all hondas)

I've personally had my Honda emblem stolen twice off my car.

There's a handful of Impreza guys that go to Cal Poly Pomona, so hopefully you won't be alone.

PomonaWRX, Carlo, goes to school there and informed me that they had dorms there! Not many Cal States have dorms.

Good luck!

Take the "Angeles Crest Forest...Hwy 2" run for the most awesome road, but watch out for the "bikes" race'n by. You can stop at the top for breakfast (the best time to go) or lunch when ALL the others get there. That road is just north of you about 20-30 minutes. Once you find out that one or two hour drives are "local" around LA you can check out the roads that go from the coast over the coastal mountains (about a dozen) and the one on the top...Mulhuland Dr.
