i just got my 6 mo renewal and wow. state farm sucks.
one accident jacked my rate from 500 to 836 bucks. it's a clean record otherwise. 60%+ increase. is it really that bad or is it state farm?
i have 100/300/50 liab/body/prop, 1,000 ded compreh/collis/medical, uninsured 100/300, uninsured prop.
so wanted to ask who do you have for your car insurance , and how much do you pay ?

I have state farm. I don' t have the details of my policy on hand atm.. I pay about 980 every 6 months..

 

I pay about $1300 every six months. I have no tickets and no accidents. You can lower your limits of liab and UM to lower your premium.

Edit: I have State Farm too.

one accident at 16 i sent some one to the hospital
and one when i was 22 i broke some guys bumper

$250 deductible umm the rest are the same as yours i think.
it went from $500 to $450 when my accident from 7 years ago cleared last may.
no tickets. discounts for multi-vehicle (w/ my family), career, loyalty.

plus it's a wagon.

 

I had AAA and paid $2700.00 a year. With 300k/500k/50k coverage on my impresa wrx STi and my highlander. A friend gave me the number to an insurance company called Wawanesa (he's a LAC Sherif and all his coworkers use this) and I'm down to $1500 a year for the same coverage. Farmes/state farm 20th century are good if you are the following

age 30-50
kids as in infants, soccer moms
clean driving record

Mercury, infinity are more of for people outside of that group

I have a friend how had a DUI and her license suspended.

She pays roughly 880 every 6 months


I have infinity

$4,140 for all 3 of my cars full coverage 500 deductible
2 accidents
4 speeding tickets in a span of 5 years

I'm 27 no kids that I know of.

i'm on multicar and loyalty with my sister. she has a volvo s60 and pays 355$ 6/mo for that. ehh

 

try mercury... accident get you upgrade to evo.

 

it was ~$215/6 mo. when i had my '89 sentra. i called a bunch of places when i got my wagon and state farm was the cheapest even when they didn't know about my existing account with them.
