Hello SCIC, I just moved down here for a killer job in Torrance. I've been up in BAIC since June of 2002 and just wanted to introduce myself and meet some of you lokes down here.

I'm actually staying in a hotel until I can find a place down here. I want to stay as close as I can to Lomita and Hawthorne in Torrance as I can because there are few things I despise more than sitting in traffic on a regular basis.

So if any of you people are looking for a roommate in that area, PM me or email me at tim at wrxnutz.com and we'll talk. I'm down for anything up to about $900 / month MAX preferably less.

Who are the cool, local vendors around here? I'll be finding out sooner or later because of my job, but I'd like to hear what you people have to say about the shops in the area. Besides, my 2002 WRX Wagon is in dire need of new spark plugs. ;p.

When are the big meets down here? Up in NorCal we have the Union City Krispy Kreme meet every Tuesday and we usually get anywhere between 10 to 40 cars on any given day. Is there anything like that around here?

Some of you will recognize my car as I bought it from a guy whose name I cannot remember at the time, but who posted as blk_mjx I believe. I'll post more current some pics of my car but you can always check out www.wrxnutz.com for older pics. I've recently added a set of Rota Actions in steel grey.

Last thing: I was rear ended by a stucco concrete wall last night and I'll be needing a body shop that does quality (and hopefully on the cheaper side) work. I may head over to the wrecking yard on San Fernando in Glendale and ****** the rear bumper skin off my wrecked black wagon if it's cheap...

fock yeah, i like to call up all the laker bandwagon fans i know and ask them if they know the score of that game every time it happens. they tend to get their panties in a bunch real quick, funny stuff.

 

im not going to lie i am a laker fan i ahve been sine show time in 87-88 pat R. i was 8 then and peeps dont know that del haris was the coach b4 phil and vlade was the center b4 shaq i hated vlade then and i hate him now

 

Welcome to So Cal. Traffic's a PITA. I don't go to any meets (I'm either too broke or too busy), but we've got a few to choose from. I'm sure somebody will let you know something. Good luck finding a place/roommate!
