What does the stock STI exhaust (muffler) section look like?

I have some no name exhausts (3 inch dia) muffler I don't need (was going to make them for a client in China but they backed out) that you can use if you want. It'll be just a matter of making the piping.

 

take that then goto valley muffler

I have a friend that has and Evo who suggested this to me. He called it "gap-ing"

Nevertheless I'm still stock with no leaks.

 

Thats it? its like a Camaro muffler, should be no more than 100 bucks installed.

yeah thats what is hold me back from buying an exhaust for the sti. isnt the new sti built from the legacy layout? so should legacy exhaust fit? are the legacy exhaust systems cheaper than an sti?

 

yeh those prices are like z exhaust prices, its a **** to spend that much just for a muffler. id either wait and cop a used one . or take francos route and get one made.

but definitely dont gap ur exhaust.

 

The suspension geometry is similar to the legacy but the muffler layout is different. The legacy is a y shape to 2 exhausts.

The sti is like a camaro which is a collecter with two exit ports. Like ed said go to valley muffler and speak some spanish. They'll make something.
