Back Again!

Well I just got back from the Subaru dealership and finishing the paperwork on my 3'rd STi. I gotta say the '07 is really impressive and I cant wait to get to work on it.

One question.. does the '07 use the same engine as the previous years? (Basically, will parts from the '06 fit?)

1 and 2 just got traded out for other cars, this is car #10 in the 7 years I've had my license lol.

Thats good news that most of the parts should fit. Really considering the Perrin header as my first purchase, seems to have the best value for the HP.

lol, it's a pretty bad habit. I figure though, this is my 3'rd STi, so I must keep coming back to it for a reason right?

I went by my buddies shop to get a turbo timer tonight and he had an Invidia DP laying around that a customer ordered and never picked up, he offered me a great price on it, so needless to say, the mods have begun lol. Planning on going with the full Invidia catless turbo back exhaust, just wish he had the catback section in stock at a deal like I got on the DP lol.

BTW, can anyone give input on how early is too early to start modding? Or is it fine to go ahead and start installing parts?

i've read somewhere that engine mods should come after the first oil change.

What catback exhaust did you go with? I was going to use the street version with the extra baffle in the muffler to try to keep it a little quieter..

So will it really make a difference if I wait until after the first oil change to put exhaust on?
