The Driving Experience
After you’ve had time to browse through the many lifestyle displays at Pacific Design Center, your driving experience will begin from the concierge desk. You and your guest will be escorted to your own Audi Q7. Audi will have over thirty vehicles on site to assure you have access to the cars you want to drive without long waits.
You will meet an Audi professional driver who is also a product specialist. This guide will host your ride from the passenger seat and help you better understand the technology and design features of the Audi that contribute to your great ride.
Next, you’ll head off onto the streets of West Hollywood and test the car under real-life, everyday conditions — starts and stops, acceleration, rough roads, even parallel parking if you like. You’ll feel the power, luxury, and comfort of the Audi. In fact, bring along your own CD. You’ll love how your music sounds in the concert hall quiet of the Audi interior.
In addition to driving the Audi vehicles, you will have the opportunity to drive models from competitors of the Audi Q7, such as the Volvo XC 90, Lexus GX, and the BMW X5. There will also be a large, low friction/traction area to demonstrate Audi’s famous quattro® system. This is a Teflon-coated surface coated with soap and water that has traction much like snowy asphalt.
