I usually post in the BAIC forums but will soon be moving down to socal. Does anyone here go to UCR? I'm planning to go there next year.
What's the campus like?
Is it true that UCR has a high car-theft rate?
Lot of girls?

hey winding, i'll be a 3rd year next year. there are certain places you don't want to park your car yes. and you don't want to go past a certain street after dark because that's when all the crack ******, hobos and whatnot come out.
there's a bunch of people on the forums that goto UCR. i honestly think the place grows on you after a while even though it's a craphole.
the campus is small, but nice.

Be careful about your car! Definitely think twice about where you are parking your car at your friend's apartment complexes. My car got broken into twice while I was attending. Lost 2 different stereos, subwoofers, and a CD changer. Maybe get a good aftermarket anti-theft system...
UCR is getting pretty ghetto...i graduated in 02 but still have frends there and wenever i go visit, i always hear about all these crime stories and wutnot...i think it was cuz of the large jump in enrollment from 02-03....thats the last i remember about UCR....other than that, like they said above, its one of the smaller UC's but i had a good time there...btw, it was the only UC that accepted me too!! Ahh, good ol' BEAR Facts...i was a counselor my senior year and it was fun, yet very tiring...feel free to hit me up if u got any specific questions...
