I'm posting this thread for a really good friend who is going to be moving to Southern California within the next few months. He is considering getting out of the Army to spend more time with his family and was looking into the civilian sector. He made E-6 in only 6 years in one of the most competitive positions in the Army. He is extremely intelligent and highly motivated. He has a great deal of computer know-how and excels at everything he does. If any of you know a company or you yourselves are looking for someone who's goal oriented and has a proactive mindset feel free to let me know. I'd like to see him settle down and enjoy his family as he's getting married in the next few months. Let me know guys, I'd really appreciate your help.

So how's the weather out there?

 

It's kinda chilly today. Mid 50s. It's supposed to get down to 28 tonight. Got word today that one person in each platoon is going to have to stay back over the holiday. If none of my soldiers are local with family looks like I won't be seeing the family for the first time on Thanksgiving. Oh well.

I ate alligator gumbo this weekend. Shiet was delicious. Seriously though, the damn Cajuns are fawking nuts. They'll jump right in the water like their the Crocidile Hunter. When we go fishing it's like I'm part of the damn animal planet.
