I have been messing with BBQ (slow cook) meats. Have you try making it? Any advice?

i haven't tried slow cook.. try char smoke.

I cooked this big piece of beef and pork for like 12 hours. Beef is ok... pork is not done yet... I think I need to put more heat...

cooked for 12 hours! wtf?? Does it taste better when cooked that way?

of course it doesnt taste better cooking for such an ungodly amount of time. he wanted a dry, overcooked, burnt and totally unchewable piece of meat to enjoy for his thanksgiving dinner.

oh..and its probably freakin delicious...can i come over louis?

Slow cook make things taste better if you do it right... That's why you are skinny... trust the fat people. You slow cook it to make that bone fall off the meat effect... I have been trying... no luck.

yes!!! i'll back you up with that.. southern bbq. it's a low heat slow cook method.

pork butt is suppose to be good for slow cook.. pork butt is the shoulder portion.. it moves a lot so slow cook will tenderize and soften it. which part are you cooking? are you making a pulled pork sandwich? those are sweet.

I am trying to bbq tough meat to make them tender. I am using pork butt...
