Angry Armrest extension doesn't fit. Anybody else with this problem?

I have a '05 WRX Wagon and picked up the armrest extension the other day. I was trying to put it in today, but it doesn't fit! The center console's different from the '04 and '05, but they have the same parts number? I'm mad!!! I'm gonna go return this. Anybdoy else have this problem?

Bleah...gotta go back and tell them this then and see what happens. I saw them look it up in a '05 catalog and they came up with part#J2010FE022, which replaced part#J2010FE020. Are you pretty certain it's supposed to be part#J2010FE030?

Thanks for the help.

that's even worst.. when the dealer don't know what they're doing.. they could've told you that it will not fit..
