apartment/condo in rowland heights area

i'm looking to move to the rowland heights area. i'm looking for an apartment or condo for under $2000 per month (including utilities 'n stuff) but in a safe (don't want my car stolen!) environment. i've looked at emerald apartments in hacienda heights, la serena and pheasant ridge on colima. the only one i liked out of those was pheasant ridge but i hear the parking situation is insane.

i found a condo that caught my interest in diamond bar but i won't see it until next week.

any other suggestions?

Condo's there are selling for around 330-400k

I'm sure you can find juan for rent as well

where at?

my situation is kind of complicated (don't have time for the details). my gf's daughter goes to school on pathfinder so i wanted to stay in that area. it's not essential but preferred. there are a ton of apartments around there. i was wondering if any of you had any experiences with these apartments.

You REALLY do not want to move around Hong Kong plaza... If you go towards Hacienda Heights a bit. On Colima, there is Pheasant Ridge that seems to be pretty nice. Also, You can try going East on colima past Brea Canyon Road (but that would put you almost into diamon bar I think). Your a bit limited, considering you want to stay around that Pathfinder/Rowland area. Nice places are non-exsistant as far as apartments go. Its all typically houses around that area. Maybe you can try to find a house thats for rent?

Well I live on off Golden Springs and Sunset Crossing, it’s a nice area, no complaints. I park my RS in the garage next to my Mr2 and leave the Legacy out in a car port with overnight security. I’ve lived in Diamond Bar most of my life and I have to say I have not juan bad memory of this town with the exception of having this STI owner who felt his car was so hawt he would wash it every Sunday with a diaper. Then he would bring his friends over showing them how to wash their car but little did this STI owner know he was screwing up the paint and there were so many swirl marks. I swear you would think this “guy” owns a BMW. But anyways, Diamond Bar is a nice town, no complaints. If you want to move to Rowland Heights enjoy. I was shopping for a home out there when my budget was limited at the time and all of the places looked at reminded me of refugee homes from Asia. It may be due to the immense Chinese/Korean population over there. Even the Mcdonalds on Fairway and Colima has a sign in Korean and Chinese, so that shows you what the environment is like out there. If your GF’s kid is going to school out there, make sure Her kid goes to a school in Diamond Bar, not Rowland, unless she wants her kid to speak nothing but Chinglish.

yes its a good area, I live up the street from there and so do a couple of other Suby owners

There's a 24 hour Savon down the street and a 76 gas station that has the cheapest gas I've ever seen.

Oh Snaps!!! My friends used to live there. Its right behind a mobil station right? it's decent. Lots of kids running around, it is gated. Sort of an old place. Course, this was about 2 years ago. I'm not sure how it is now....

How to you remove swirl marks anyway? I bought this 8 dollars bottle (3M swirl remover) long time ago, doesn't seem to be working *_*
