Ok here's the deal. This guy Daniel (spiralsmurf) over on Nasioc posted up a set of Prodrive WR GC8 springs for sale last month. I contacted him by email and we agreed that I would send a money order for $170 for the springs. So on July 14th I sent the money order out, its now Aug. 10th and I still don't have the springs. FYI I live in the SF bay area and he is in Chatsworth. Also, I already have a set of KYB AGX struts that I bought this month and being that I'm unemployed, -170 bucks and no parts is NOT COOL.... I could barely afford this suspension setup =/ So anyways I talked to him last week on the phone and he said the springs were shipped via UPS last Tuesday..... still no sign of them and he said he didn't have a tracking # for them....wtf?? Well I'm pretty ticked off about this so if anybody knows him personally please PM me and see if you can find out whats going on an tell him to get me my springs he already has my $$$!! Sorry Daniel if you happen to be reading this post, its just I got the money to you promptly and I expected you to do the same with the springs.

EDIT: I also saw that he's a member on here with the same sn but only has 1 post.

I posted on nasioc that I'd gotten an engine from him but I need to check www.awjunkies.com to make sure; post there also.

 

I have heard of him and I think every once and a while he just kinda neglects shipping out something.

I'm unemployed right now going to college 5 days a week. So losing $170 of my hard saved $$ is some bullshti. I did report him on nasioc though.

Anything yet? Because the guy is still posting on Nasioc, not a lot but he still has time to check the forums and give replies... Obviously if he has time on the boards he has time to drive down the street to the post office or UPS. I would ask on that thread if anything has been accomplished. I hear his sob story but that doesn't mean he can't take a few minutes out of his day to take care of something. And I hate to sound cold but so many times I see people get screwed out of a deal and the first thing the scammer says is someone died or is sick (Hell, a close friend of mine was murdered 3 days ago but I am not missing work and I'm still doing my daily functions-Link) then my girl left me (wouldn't that give you more time?...But thats not Spiralsmurf's case anyways) and I had to go to school or I would fail (isn't it summer...? Myself and all my friends have been out... even summer schoolers) and work was going to... Who cares, if he has time to browse Nasioc he should have time to go to Mailboxes etc. If he doesn't have a tracking number maybe you should post the link I gave you to the last person he flaked on... Hopefully that will open his eyes on his reputation.
