Angles Crest Run June 22nd

Angeles Crest is one of my favorite runs, so here are the details.

June 22nd (sunday)
Meet at 7:00-7:30AM
The run starts at 8am
The meeting spot is the sports chalet ski shop the addres is:
951 Foothill Blvd
La Canada Flintridge, CA
91011-3340, US

Here is a pic

The run is only about 60 miles with a nice loop thrown in. The plan is to drive up to this nice little dinner and have breakfast then go back and drive some. Depending on the group the route could be shortened or we could make it ALOT longer. If you have any questions just send me a PM.

how fast do you guys drive? ie drive for fun or drive for speed?

be careful- my WRX got motorcycled there last sunday- was up by redbox (Mt wilson turnoff) and a motorcyclist came over the double yellow and smashed into my drivers side doors.

now, Im bitter and not driving the WReX for three weeks.

speed safely! watch for CHiPs up there- Ponch and John are up there most weekends watching out for anyone doing anything just a touch out of the norm. its also a double-fine zone (just like Ortega FYI)

My buddy's friend just got into accident on a motorcycle in Angeles Crest, he hit a car! and it was last weekend...
Small world, it is...

I hope your car will get fix soon for more fun.

There have been too many accidents over there.
Some people get way too hot,
and yes. Cops are just WAITING for you. They know what's going on over there and some of them chases all the way up to top of Mt. Wilson in the crown victoria.
Watch out.

the pre-run went great, bright and sunny. Very few cops and I will be leading with my radar dector, the cops that were there I had plenty of notice with my radar dector to slow down, but the motor cycle in front of me didnt, he got pulled over but not us. See you guys next sunday.
