Does the metal gear solid storyline follow the old school nes metal gear storyline? Or are both differnt, I can't remember if they do or not. Cause I read that mgs 4 ends the the metal gear solid storyline. The next game is gonna be different.

 

Yeah, it does. Canon timeline goes: MGS3, MGS Portable Ops, MG, MG2 (Japan only release, NOT the America-only POS), MGS, MGS2, MGS4.

 

that reminds me i need to get a copy of MGS2 i haven't played that.
