04 STi Spoiler Solutions?

I'm looking for a straight bolt-on replacement but can't seem to find anything online. I know if I bought an oem WRX spoiler I'd be left with holes in the middle of the trunk. Do any of you know of complete bolt-on spoilers?

Or are these my only options: to get the oem WRX wing and have a body shop install/fill holes/paint or find someone to do a trunk swap?

you can plug them or you can trade springs and trunks

there is an option to raise the wing higher but i dont think thats what you want

Thanks sigma. Yeah, it does appear that the trunk swap is the only option. Sigh.

I'm pondering essentially the same thing.

Looks like i'll be going with the Voltex wing delete cover.

Basically this, but without the wing attached.

...i wonder where the effective cutoff point or balancing point for Quality vs. Price is on these carbon fiber trunks...

e.g. is Seibon the lowest price, yet decent quality (e.g. fit and durability), CF trunk? but they're at ~$600 for the trunk compared to NRG $400. Sigma Pi, your thoughts???
(and apologies to OP for hijack)

One option is the Syms replica spoiler, but then you'd still have a big spoiler

Trunk swap is the way to go.

(...Hijack of thread complete...)
yeah, but that 'EGO' part of me wants to keep the damn wing, at least sitting in the garage somewhere...on the assumption that i'll go to the track one of these days.

i've got a buy thread for a wingless trunk...we'll see how that pans out.

which is why i'm thinking the Voltex wing delete cover the most.

If painted, the voltex delete may look... interesting?

No worries about the thread hijack. It's still basically the same subject! :P

Anyway, for cost the oem WRX spoiler can be had for $120 plus paint and install at a body shop would probably bring it up to about $300. I'd have to give my bodyshop a call for an estimate if I went that route. Seems like the easiest solution outside of the voltex cover.

To bad BYS didn't make things for Subie's. If you are familiar with the S2000, the bys spoiler is a very clean bolt on that replaces the 3rd brake light.

i dont think any of them fit welll. they all are off by some thing
i dont know if its them not fitting it with shims and what ever but tehy dont one side is always raised up and one side is flush

next time you are at a meet or car show take a look and run your fingers over it if you can
they dont seal up well either.

i know some one selling a CF trunk for cheap though if you guys want it

it doesnt fit well hahah

if i didnt get my CF hood for free i wouldnt have it at all
