I installed my MBC the other day. My buddy was supposed to come over and install my Defi gauges. He never showed. So I had a MBC on not knowing how many pounds I was running. This is bad I know. If it makes any difference I was driving slow if I had to use my car. So I got the gauges installed a couple days later to find I was hitting 20 psi. Glad I was driving slowly when I used my car. The past few days I have been trying to adjust it. I just can’t get it to work. It doesn’t seem to stay @ 15 psi. It will go over to 17 or get just below 15 not matter how I adjust it. I don’t understand. I have the MBC at 1 full turn from closed position right now. It’s almost closed. My friend who’s very good with cars told me to put it at 3 turns (course adjustment) from closed position. What am I doing wrong and what is broken?

 

Your ECU should cut the fuel at about 17 PSI. Perhaps there is a problem with your boost gauge.

I have a turbo xs BC. I dont think that I'm tuning it right. How have you guys tuned yours?
