Yeah the VF 30 is an aftermarket turbo. The performance from the reflash is pretty damn good. They've got a few dyno charts. Also, if you have other mods, it's safer to have the reflash, because your engine then works more efficiently with the new parts. Yes, the accessport has different "settings" if you will. So you could cruise through town on "economy" mode and save on gas, and then flip it into "race" mode when you want to impress the ladies, and then into "valet" when you drop your car off at the restaurant.

To change modes you have to be pluged into the OBD2 diag port and have the unit with you. So, if you drive it some where and change it to anitheft and then leave it in the car you are defeating the purpose. If you took it with you that would be good. I think the antitheft is good when you park it at night or have to leacve for the weekend or something. Stage one or two is good for a mostly stock wrx. You have to ahve a DP to use stage two though. I wish we had a VF-30 stock. That would rock. Good luck. I am waiting on my stage two(accesport) right now.
